Salcedo Auctions’ subsidiary, gavel&block, opens the auction year with a diverse lineup for its hallmark "art+design" online auction.

The event is held quarterly, and, this time. features a wonderful mix of paintings, furniture, prints, antiques, jewelry, and more.

Manila Bulletin Lifestyle was invited for a sneak peek of the items, and we were positively feeling covetous about the items we saw.

There were prints by Fernando Zóbel and BenCab, and also paintings by Juvenal Sansó and Romeo Tabuena. Furniture pieces by Napoleon Abueva contrast wonderfully with modern pieces by Kenneth Cobonpue. There were also quaint chinoiserie furniture and beautiful wooden Filipiñana chairs and wardrobes. Jewelries and vintage watches share spaces with antique rebultos.

Whatever your aesthetic or taste in art or furniture, "art+design" has something for you.
