ALAMAT in Teen Vogue US

Pinoy boyband ALAMAT was recently featured in the digital edition of Teen Vogue magazine.

The article was posted on the American publication's website Tuesday, January 24. 

The article centered on how ALAMAT’s aesthetic sets them apart from the Kpop-centric style of other local pop groups.

It read in part: “While original P-pop music saw success in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s, support faced a steep decline once group started modeling themselves after their Korean counterparts. The industry lacked diversity and by extension, a distinct identity: something Alamat has in spades."

The Teen Vogue article coincided with the release of ALAMAT’s new music video for their latest single titled “Maharani” that featured cameos from BINI’s Jhoanna and Migo Valid.
