Diamond Hotel

Dine at Diamond Hotel Philippines’ Corniche Lunch or Dinner Buffet and savor Chinese New Year favorites and other sumptuous dishes for P3,500 net per person until Jan. 22. Every minimum of P7,000 spent at the restaurant entitles guests to “pick-a-prize” from the Prosperity Tree with a chance to win surprises from the hotel.

In addition, Corniche also features Lucky Chinese Set Menus for the occasion. Two sets are for advanced table reservations for lunch and dinner with prices starting at P16,800 net, good for five persons. The Special Set Menus are available until the end of January.

Marco Polo Ortigas Manila

Marco Polo Ortigas Manila is currently offering the traditional nian gao, more commonly known as tikoy, until Jan. 22, 2023. The delicious rice cake comes in four variants: Double Gold Bar Nian Gao (P2,598), Double Flavored-Red Dates Sugar and Fortune Orange (P2,598), Red Dates Sugar Round Tikoy (P1,898), and Fortune Orange Round Tikoy (P 1,898).

It will also be hosting a 2023 forecast reading with no less than Feng Shui master Joseph Chau. The highly anticipated activity will take place on Jan, 20, at the award-winning, authentic Cantonese Lung Hin restaurant.

Until Jan. 23, Lung Hin will be pulling out all the stops with a Lucky Rabbit Chinese New Year Set Menu. Its 10-course menu is priced at P52,888 for 10 people and P26,888 for five people Rounding up the festivities will be Chau’s traditional ceremony and blessing on the ground floor of the hotel on Jan. 22 at 10 a.m., followed by a grand lion and dragon dance performance at Lung Hin.

Araneta City

Araneta City welcomes the Year of the Rabbit with the theme “Leap into the Lucky Year. Everyone is invited to its Chinese New Year festivities, which include Lion and Dragon dances on Jan.21 in Ali Mall (10 a.m.), Cyberpark Towers 1 and 2 (12:30 p.m.), Manhattan Towers (1:30 p.m.), and Farmers Plaza (2:30 p.m.).

Its celebration continues on Jan. 22 with  Lion and Dragon dances in Gateway Mall (10 a.m.), Novotel Manila Araneta City (12:30 p.m.), Shopwise Arcade (3 p.m.), Farmers Market (4:30 p.m.). Guests will also be treated to Tarot Reading sessions at Farmers Plaza Activity Area from  12 to 3 p.m., Pet Costume Competition in the Ali Mall Activity Area at 3:30 p.m., and enjoy the Year of the Rabbit Bazaar in Gateway Mall Activity Area until  Jan. 31. 

Rizal Park Hotel

The historic Rizal Park Hotel invites guests to usher in abundance and success by celebrating the Year of the Water Rabbit with a sumptuous, curated menu of authentic Chinese cuisine, available across the property’s dining outlets from Imperial Court to Cafe Rizal.

At the signature Chinese outlet Imperial Court, families and friends can celebrate the Year of the Rabbit with menu options designed specifically for the occasion. Start with the Good Fortune Menu at P28,888/table (10 persons) featuring 9 curated dishes. The menu comes with two complimentary bottles of white wine. Guests craving Peking duck, stir-fried scallop Szechuan style, and steamed lapu-lapu can choose the Prosperity Menu for only P29,888/table of 10 persons, inclusive of two bottles of white wine or rose. Imperial Court’s Lunar New Year menus are available from Jan. 21 to Feb. 5.

On Lunar New Year’s Day, guests can enjoy a dimsum buffet of siomai, tikoy, dumplings, buchi, and other delicacies at the hotel for only P600. In addition, guests can also dine at Cafe Rizal for its buffet of Chinese congee and side dishes.
