Tia Belle’s brings to the table Pinoy comfort food and other regional eats

With numerous fiestas happening in the country all year round, Filipinos definitely know how to throw a great feast. Home-cooked meals are always the stars of the table. Not only are they comforting, but they also mirror tradition and culture, making every dining experience a truly memorable one. Lucky for us, a fiesta is not a requirement to enjoy such dishes. Tagaytay-based restaurant Tia Belle’s, since its inception, has been on a mission to champion Filipino flavors one plate at a time. It continues today as it welcomes foodies to try not only the classics but also regional eats.

Tia Belle's signature dishes lumpiang bukid, laying, and relyenong bangus

Tia Belle’s is led by Evelyn Wise, a Nueva Ecija native who spent 20 years in Europe. Through her restaurant, she aims to give people the homey vibes and hospitality they crave. “Every time I am in the kitchen, cooking and concocting sauces, I feel like dancing  — dancing with my wok,” Evelyn says.

Apart from its signature lumpiang bukid and bulalo lomi, Tia Belle’s brings to the table regional favorites such as the delectable laing enriched with coconut milk. Seafood fans will have a field day with its specialty dinengdeng, an Ilokano favorite, as well as steamed pompano and relyenong bangus. While vegetable dishes like the ampalaya sotanghon guisado and ginataang sitaw kalabas combines healthy eating and tasty indulgence.

Being hospitable is Tia Belle’s way of paying homage to the illustrious Filipino culture. It also gives customers the Filipino dining experience with its great service partnered with an authentic Filipino ambiance.

“We want to be of service to our fellow countrymen while keeping and incorporating the important values and traditions of what being Filipino is all about,” Evelyn says. “We make sure we provide an optimal dining experience for our customers by making sure that their dining experience is our responsibility the minute they step into our restaurant.”

A trip to Tagaytay will surely be a celebration of Filipino flavors when dining at Tia Belle’s.
