On his Facebook account, rising actor Drei Arias, lead star of BL movie, Baka Sakali, writes, as if advising himself:

“Take the step, no matter how far your destination, take it. No matter how small it may be. No matter how scared you are of what's ahead.”

Drei, a graduate of male beauty pageants, takes to heart what he says, practices what he preaches. He goes all-out as a sexy actor in his latest film, whose title loosely translates to “Just in Case” or “If in Case.”

It is now streaming on AQ Prime.

In a media conference, Drei said his love scenes with fellow actor, Leandre Adams, in Baka Sakali, were shot while the two of them were completely naked.

“Mahirap po kasi mag-plaster pa, at masakit tanggalin after,” he said. Leandre, a ramp model, nodded in agreement. Drei, from Malolos, Bulacan, considers himself blessed and grateful for the opportunities coming his way. On FB, he is thanking God profusely for these gifts.

As a contract artist of AQ Prime, he has had the opportunity to work with big names like National Artist Nora Aunor and top-calibre director Joel Lamangan.

He hopes to cross over to mainstream movies following his stint (he prays it won’t be forever) in sexy films. So far, Drei has acted in "Peyri Teyl" (by Lamangan) and "Bingwit" (Buboy Tan).
