LOOK: Manila’s Korean Village Restaurant to end its operations this month

Manila City is truly a foodies’ paradise. It is home to the best restaurants cooking local and international cuisines that are loved by many Pinoys today. In Malate, there is a special food spot perfect for anyone who is passionate about Korean cuisine. Sadly, they only got days to try its dishes out before it closes its doors.

For years, Korean Village Restaurant has been feeding diners with its authentic Korean eats. On Feb 20, a Facebook user shared that the restaurant will be shutting down this month. Confirming it is GMA News Online through a phone call, detailing that its last day of service will be on Feb. 25.

Located at Nakpil St. in Malate, Manila, Korean Village Restaurant is known for its delicious Korean offerings such as chopchae and jjampong noodle dishes, kimchi fried rice, bibimbap, and grilled meat and seafood, among others. During the height of the pandemic, much like in other restaurants’ cases, its production was put to a halt. It resumed its operations in May 2020 offering food for pickup and delivery. As per its last post on Facebook, the restaurant is now offering dine-in and an alfresco spot for its customers.
