Arthur Nery is dropping a new single titled “O ninanais” tonight.
It is something new for him, sonically speaking.
He ditches his usual R&B styled sounds and opts instead for a jazz-inflected feel.
The piano-driven ballad still focuses on his mellow, bedroom vocals and lilting falsettos, though, something that many of his fans would appreciate for sure.
Said track is the much-awaited new single from the R&B singer-songwriter who last released a single back in late 2021.
His monster hit “Pagsamo” has over 133 million streams on Spotify alone.
2022 also saw his first solo sold out show at the New Frontier Theatre.
Fans are hoping that “O ninanais” will be the first of a handful of new songs from Arthur.
Written and arranged by Arthur, “O ninanais” is co-produced by Su Ganade and frequent collaborator Axel Fernandez.
“O ninanais” was recorded with real strings that featured violinists Lea Rodriguez, Bryan Matias, Sophia Chua and cellist Vanette Villanueva. Studio musicians include Ian Fajarito on piano, guitarist Miguel Mejia and bassist Mike Bayas.
The official visualizer of “O ninanais” is now out on YouTube.
