Reader’s Corner: Former OFWs now run their own poultry farm in Leyte

I’m Christian Arsenio, co-owner of XL Poultry Farm in Barangay Malobago, Jaro, Leyte. 

Established in April 2019, XL Poultry Farm is a layer poultry farm that produces fresh farmed white eggs. Our produce is used for commercial and home use. 

started the said layer poultry business right after home from working abroad as nurses. Now we aim to expand our farm to cater demands.

Being in the province and doing farm activities gives peace of mind. The calmness in the farm relaxes our mind and taking care of our farm animals keeps us happy compared to medical field.
