The Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) has advised lawyers that it has been experiencing glitches in its online payment system.
“We have received reports that some Bayad Centers in Cebu and Southern Luzon are not able to process myIBP payments, and other areas may also be affected” the IBP said in its advisory last Sunday, Jan. 1.
“If you intend to pay via Bayad Centers, please confirm first with your preferred Bayad Centers if they are able to process IBP payments,” the IBP advised.
It recommended the “use of myIBP online modes of payment via Paynamics at this time.”
“For over-the-counter payments outside of myIBP, you may use BDO Collection Payment facility,” it also said.
The IBP is the official organization of all lawyers in the country. It was organized in 1973 with the formation and election of its first chapter officers after the Supreme Court (SC) created on Oct. 5, 1970 the Commission on Bar Integration.
