Alamat, Lyca Gairanod come together on new tune

Alamat is dropping a lyric video for its latest single tonight on YouTube.

Titled “Ily Ily,” the new track also features singing powerhouse Lyca Gairanod, who sings the chorus in Tagalog, as the members of the boy band deliver their rap verses in Bisaya, Bicolano, Waray, Ilocano and Kapampangan.

According to Ninuno Media head Jason Paul Laxamana, “the song is an update of a Hiligaynon folk lullaby.”

The official music video is scheduled to premiere on YouTube tomorrow, Aug. 23.

The track will be made available via Spotify the same day at 6pm.

All other streaming sites will premiere “Ily Ily” on Aug. 24, midnight.

Alamat and Lyca Gairanod recently performed "Ily Ily" for the first time at a special Wishbus performance at the Enchanted Kingdom.

Alamat is Tomas, Taneo, R-Ji, Alas, Jao and Mo.

“Ily Ily” is under Viva Records.
