K-pop group ENHYPEN's 'Manifesto: Day 1' album sells more than 768,000 copies in a day

K-pop idol band ENHYPEN debuted at No. 1 on the daily album chart with their new release “Manifesto: Day 1.”

ENHYPEN released “Manifesto: Day 1” on July 4 containing six tracks including the lead single “Future Perfect (Pass the Mic).”

According to Korea’s Hanteo Chart, “Manifesto: Day 1” sold a total of 768,603 copies on the first day of release on July 4 to top the daily album chart.

The first-day total already surpassed the first-week sales of ENHYPEN’s previous album “Dimension: Answer,” which sold 514,291 copies in January, or an increase of 254,312 copies.

By comparison, “Dimension: Answer” sold 247,447 copies on the first day of release, or a difference of 521,156 copies.

In addition, “Manifesto: Day 1” topped iTunes’ Top Albums chart in 17 countries and regions.

The music video for “Future Perfect (Pass the Mic)” has garnered 4.7 million views on YouTube as of this writing.
