KDR Music House gets bigger with 'Blink of an Eye'

Third time’s the charm as the saying goes.

Apparently it rings true for KDR Music.

The events management, record label and music publishing outfit pulled off another successful concert, their third, since launching the series last March.

The most recent, held last July 10 at The Theater in Solaire, was the biggest.

Titled “Blink Of An Eye,” the show was an interactive experience that melded live performances, visuals that “acted out on screen without dialog but with a voiceover narration” of Wish 107.5 FM DJ/personality,  Dr. Clark.

Music and a solid narrative (that of the love story of Kate and Joseph) was the big draw that night at the Solaire show. And playing key roles are featured actors Arnold Reyes and Kimberly Baluzo.

Punctuating the show were music acts bands Silent Sanctuary and KDR act Splendio Tritus, as well as veteran singer-songwriter Wency Cornejo and Yeng Constantino. Alt-pop singer-songwriter Peniel (grand winner of the Wish Originals songwriting competition), and singing champ Heart Salvador also took the spotlight with their solid performances.

The night’s repertoire consisted of pop classics from the 80’s OPM classics and Top 40 hits from 90’s and beyond.

“Blink Of An Eye” was stage-directed by Arnold Sanchez with Rennie Aloc as assistant director. Adonis Tabanda took on musical director duties, while Dominique Gallardo was in-charge of lighting and effects.

"Blink of an Eye" premiered last Sunday (July 17) on the KDR Youtube channel.
