Marcos is on his way to full recovery from Covid-19, Palace says
Three days after testing positive for Covid-19, President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. is "on his way to a complete recovery," Malacañang said today.

The President is not experiencing fever and his cough has disappeared, Dr. Samuel Zacate, Marcos' lead doctor, said on Monday, July 11.
He is also not experiencing any additional symptoms but has "very mild nasal stuffiness and nasal itchiness," the doctor added.
"He is still with no fever and body malaise. His cough disappeared but still with very mild nasal stuffiness and nasal itchiness, therefore additional medication (were) given to address his concern and all other medicines were advised to be continued," Zacate said.
He added that the President's vital signs are "within normal limits and exemplary."
"His throat still has no noticeable inflammation and no signs of respiratory compromise," Zacate said, adding that in his opinion, the Chief Executive is "on his way to a complete recovery."
Zacate also said the fast recovery of the President is expected given that he is fully vaccinated.
Marcos tested positive for the disease on July 8. It is his second time contracting Covid-19. His first bout with the disease was during the height of the pandemic in 2020.
He has been under isolation since July 8 and will have to lead his second Cabinet meeting via teleconferencing on July 12.
