Viva Live to mount first major Arthur Nery show this July

Arthur Nery, hit singer of “Pagsamo,” will have his first major solo concert next month as mounted by Viva Live, Inc.

Titled simply “Arthur Nery,” the show will be held at the New Frontier Theatre on July 2.

Arthur broke into the mainstream some three years ago with his critically acclaimed solo album “Letters Never Sent.”

Said album yielded the single “Higa,” “Binhi,” and “Life Puzzle.”

It wasn’t until 2020 that Arthur started to hit his stride with “Happy w U” followed with “Take All The Love” in 2021.

Arthur’s popularity was nudged further with his duet with Janine Teñoso in the fan-fave and kilig hit “Pelikula” of 2021.

This was then followed by “Pagsamo” the same year.

To date “Pagsamo” has over 77 million streams on Spotify and its official music video and lyric visualizer has over 76 million views on YouTube (not counting the dozens for fan upload versions of the song).

Arthur’s most recent single “Isa Lang” recently became the top pop song on Spotify’s local charts.

With the concert already announced on social media, “tickets sales are going quite fast,” said a Viva Live executive.
