Actor Robin Padilla is still leading in the May 2022 polls senatorial race.

The Comelec, sitting as the National Board of Canvassers, is canvassing the votes for senators and partylist representatives at the Philippine International Convention Center Forum Tent in Pasay City.
Based on the National Canvass Report No. 3 released Friday, May 13, Padilla is leading in the senatorial race with 23,908,730 votes followed by Loren Legarda's 21,964,607 votes.
Also in the top 12 based on the partial official results are the following: Raffy Tulfo with 21,473,739 votes; Sherwin Gatchalian with 18,642,633; Chiz Escudero with 18,509,704; Mark Villar with 17,443,458; Alan Peter Cayetano with 17,379,824; Joel Villanueva with 16,965,655; Migz Zubiri with 16,779,090; JV Ejercito with 14,352,402; Risa Hontiveros with 14,207,830; and Jinggoy Estrada with 13,745,623.
The result was based only on 121 certificates of canvass.
The NBOC is set to canvass 173 COCs which include overseas absentee voting.
It was on May 10, Tuesday, when the Comelec NBOC started officially canvassing votes for senators and party-list groups.
The Comelec is eyeing to proclaim the 12 winning senators within the week or early next week.
