It has been a month since Nay Lolit Solis and I started the “relaunch” of our digital show “ Take It, Take It, Meganon!” (ang show na nabawasn ng host, nabawasan din ng show title!) Thank you for our loyal viewers for the support and for appreciating our tandem on-cam. (lakas maka-riding in tandem ha!) It may be an extra talk time for me (bilang need ko dumagdag ng koda!) but Nay Lolit’s punchlines and hilarious revelations make the hosting chore exciting! (tapos may pa-harbat pa sya!)

We also want to thank SuperSam Restaurant in Quezon City for allowing us to make their al fresco area our set every Tuesday’s live airing. (na ang joke ko, pinalagyan pa nila ng mga plastik na halaman sa background dahil plastik kami!)More sponsors are also coming in. We have even included raffle within the program for the online viewers. (thank you po! Baka sa susunod sasayaw na rin kami ng boom tarat tarat!)

Showbiz oriented talk shows like TITIMG (yan talaga ang acronym ha!) will always feature gossips and intrigues about celebrities but sometimes, the hosts are not spared from the controversies (di ba ako nga na-bash ng dati naming kasama!) Recently, Nay Lolit and actress Bea Alonzo suddenly became “showbiz enemies”. (Lola vs Tita!)

It all started when Nay Lolit would joke about Bea on the show. She would comment about Bea’s demands on projects, her looks and her relationships (pero sa pagkakatanda ko, puro pabiro lang. the usual Lolit Solis statements!) But it seemed Bea’s camp took Nay Lolit’s comments seriously. One Tuesday, before the live airing of our show, Nay Lolit learned that Shirley Kuan, Bea’s manager requested a PR team to remove her and her friends and fellow columnists Salve Asis and Gorgy Rula from the list of attendees for Bea’s beauty product endorsement media conference. (ligwak beauties ang mga lola mo!)

Nay Lolit believes that it was a request from Bea but she was offended by Shirley’s gesture: “Hindi ko naman kilala si Bea personally. Si Shirley, magkakilala kami. Pareho kaming manager. Dapat bilang manager, inayos nya, kinausap nya alaga nya. Kinausap nya ako. Hindi yung magpapatanggal sya ng tao. “ (buti nalang, wala  ako sa list!)

In our very recent episode, I asked her if she’s willing to meet Bea and iron things out.  Her quick answer was: “Oo! Basta pakainin nya ako sa masarap na restaurant at magpapabalot  ako!” (ano ito, harbat na take-out?!)
