Fans defend BTS' V who was photographed smoking at the Grammys

Fans are defending BTS member V who was photographed smoking in an unidentified area at the Grammy Awards held on April 3 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The photos were circulated on Twitter and Facebook. The photos showed V smoking and wearing the outfit he donned for the Grammy Awards red carpet.

BTS ARMYs commented on the post on Twitter to defend V.

Here are some of the comments:

- “They are adults they can do whatever they want. We are just fans”

- “Why be so serious? He is a grownass adult who is probably far more mature and responsible than most of us. Like please, LET HIM BEand stop posting pictures that infringe his privacy. As fans, that's the last thing we would want”

- “It’s his life his choice!”

- “I’m glad he’s finally being free and living like the adult he is”

- “Hes a grown ass man that can do whatever he wants whenever he wants, Stop acting like yall have a right to judge anything he does..ever..”

- “He smokes, looks at the girls, wow it's human”

- “What's the big deal if taehyung does smoking? Is it a crime or something? Grow up... everybody has the right to do the things they want to do. As if its your money to paid for his cigarettes”

Fans also complained that the photos were taken without his consent and an invasion of privacy.

BTS were nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their Billboard No. 1 song “Butter.” The award went to “Kiss Me More” by Doja Cat Featuring SZA.

BTS performed “Butter” at the 64th Grammy Awards .
