This was their second consecutive year to be nominated at the Grammy Awards and in the same category.

BTS ARMYs were disappointed when the winner was announced for the category. The hashtag #scammys trended on Twitter after the winner was announced.

"We always love you, ARMY," BTS' official Twitter account posted.

BTS got their first nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Dynamite” at the 63rd Grammy Awards.

On the Grammy Awards red carpet before the main show, BTS talked about the importance of a win.

“You know, it’s an award voted by the peers in the music industry so that means even so much. And, you know, these two years were so exhausting and devastating. And if we get Grammys, it’ll all pay off,” RM told E! News.
