Everyone’s invited to add a cup (or more) for their presidential bet in the 7-Election mock poll until May 4

With less than five weeks to go before the nationwide voting, the election fever is indeed here. The convenience store is inviting more Filipinos to make their voices heard as they extend the voting period for #SpeakCUP, this year’s edition of 7-Election until May 4, 2022.

As much as 16 percent are still undecided about their presidential bet, thus the whole nation is on their toes with various survey results popping up day by day. Adding to the brewing anticipation, the unscientific yet fun mock poll presents the public with daily tallied results from votes casted by purchasing Gulp or City Cafe drinks in its branches nationwide.

As of April 5, 2022, 2.5 million cups have been counted. Votes are tallied daily and can be monitored on its microsite.

Although surveys do not say it all, 7-Eleven pours it all as the public’s fun partner in voting. It aims to be a safe and fun space for everyone to show their support just by purchasing their favorite drinks. Repeat votes are totally welcome! Unlike the official national elections, there’s no age and voting limit at this mock poll. The store encourages responsible voting while still injecting fun amid the upcoming polls.

Since 2010, 7-Election has accurately predicted the winner of the 2010 and 2016 presidential election. Now all eyes are set on the 2022 results as the winning candidate will be determined just five days before the May 9 national poll. Will the convenience store get it right once more?
