Sara 'touched and honored' to get paired with other Palace bets, but...
Vice presidential candidate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte said for the nth time Wednesday, March 23 that she intends to honor her commitment as Bongbong Marcos's running mate.

That said, she admitted to feeling "deeply touched and honored" over the fact that she continues to get paired up with other presidential candidates in the lead up to the May 9, 2022 polls.
"Once again, let me reiterate that I am aware that many of you wish to see me with another presidential candidate. I take that as a sign of confidence in me as a leader, and for that I am truly, deeply touched and honored," she said in a video posted on her Facebook.
"But I am a person, a woman, a leader who values commitment and word of honor. I am running for the position of vice president and my president is Bongbong Marcos," Mayor Duterte said, referring to her UniTeam partner.
Although the lady mayor didn't mention it, the movement to have her elected with opposition standard-bearer Vice President Leni Robredo is getting more traction.
Dubbed as the RoSa (Robredo-Sara), the movement was officially launched by Albay 2nd district Rep. Joey Salceda, Cagayan de Oro 2nd district Rep. Rufus Rodriguez, and Zamboanga City Mayor Isabelle Climaco.
Incidentally, "rosas" is Filipino for pink, Robredo’s campaign color.
Mayor Duterte, chairperson of the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD), recalled the formation of UniTeam and said that it was her who chose to run for vice president.
"The presidency was the option for Apo BBM (Marcos), as it was for me, I chose the vice presidency. When we agreed to form the UniTeam of Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte, we both agreed to come together with the singular purpose of improving the lives of the Filipinos and making the Philippines a stronger country," she said.
"I intend to honor the commitment of my party, the and Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP)—that is to support Bongbong Marcos as President. I continue to pray and call on all my friends to trust that the UniTeam will serve our country with care, love, honor, and dedication," the two-term Davao mayor said.
HNP was the regional party that Inday Sara belonged to before joining the Lakas-CMD last year.
