Right before it was dethroned by Korean hit show “Squid Game,” Shonda Rhimes’ “Bridgerton” was the show dominating Netflix’s streaming charts. It gave viewers a full-blown view of the Regency era in London, straight from Julia Quinn’s historical romance novels. As its sophomore season is about to premiere, the streaming platform brings the opulence and charm of the show to the Philippines with the launch of Villa Bridgerton in Quezon City for Filipino fans to bring their “Bridgerton” fantasy to life.

A royal carriage awaits

Like from a fairytale, a white floral-decked carriage is set in front of the villa. Guest can take photos while onboard the horse-drawn carriage with horsemen in powdered wigs as they wait for their time to come in.

Luxuriate like a true Ton

The lavishness continues indoors with the ethereal interior of the reception area. Guest can lounge in a room filled with romantic furniture, pastel florals, lush curtains, and a digital fireplace that will surely make Lady Featherington seethe with envy.

Silly love songs

“Bridgerton” is not just known for its stellar cast and lovey-dovey plot, it also made a mark for its use of contemporary pop music. That element is evident in the villa with a live orchestra playing medley of pop hits like Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dream,” Ariana Grande’s “Thank U, Next,” and even Filipino songs like “Marikit” by Juan Caoile.

Sweet soirée

Below a giant crystal chandelier is a table filled with the most delectable sweet confectioneries in the Banquet Hall. Setting a delightful soirée for the elite, the setup allows a perfect Instagram moment for faux wine toasting, dessert indulgence, and maybe gossiping about London high society.

Check-in at the Viscount’s Suite

The walls on the second floor of the villa are filled with portraits of the show’s series and a number of classical paintings. But the true gem is the Viscount’s Suite housing a queen-size bed, a platform form for playing dress-up, and tables with the loveliest trinkets.

Garden tea fantasy

Outside the mansion is a grand setup fit for afternoon tea and a game of croquet. Taking it to a grander level are the chandeliers that glimmer with the sun’s rays and a floral fountain with cherub sculptures.
