Catriona Gray, Kim Chiu, and Rei Germar join forces for a chic summer fashion campaign

The three style muses become H&M Tropical Essentials 2022 ambassadors

For its latest women’s fashion release dubbed Tropical Essentials, H&M Philippines brings together three Filipino style muses—Catriona Gray, Kim Chiu, and Rei Germar—for a campaign that is all about feminine beauty, strength, and power.

As the name implies, the collection presents summer wardrobe staples with the theme “Passion Stories.” In a video released on social media, the ladies are seen wearing the brand’s latest offerings, from romantic floral frocks and modern activewear to swimwear pieces fit for different shapes and sizes.

“We are all so proud to share with you this vision and dream that has come alive, together with equally empowered women, Kim Chiu (@chinitaprincess) and Rei Germar (@reigermar),” Catriona posted. “This is just the beginning!”

"Putting this trio in one fashion campaign may come as a surprise, but these ladies are not as different as you'd think," the brand says in a statement. " While each of their stories may be unique, they all circle around a passion. For Kim, it's a passion that shines—advocating for female athletes, confidence, and strength in every sense of the word. For Catriona, it's a passion that blooms—empowering other women and local businesses to grow to their greatest potential. While for Rei, it's a passion that flows—uplifting others to pursue their dreams by sharing their own journey of success."

It is not new for Kim to be the face of the Swedish clothing brand. Last March, she debuted as its ambassador the Tropical Essentials 2021 line. While former Miss Universe Catriona and fashion influencer Rei are the latest to be included in the label’s growing list of Filipino ambassadors, which includes actresses Nadine Lustre, Maja Salvador, and Andrea Brillantes.
