Café Plantcetera is your one-stop-shop for your gardening and caffeine needs
Gardening, throughout the pandemic, has been a form of therapy to many. Amid all the chaos of the outside world, people can find joy and Zen through their potted blooms and plants. And as this green movement sprouted from one home to another, food brands and restaurants started to take it as their next move. These days, dining out means having good food and drinks with plants as food spots bring nature closer to customers with their outdoor dining service. Now, if you are passionate about planting and having a great brewed cup on the side, this café is a place you shouldn’t whenever you are heading down south.
Located in Las Pinas City, Café Plantcetera serves a merged experience for both plantitos, plantitas, and coffee aficionados. First a gardeners’ wonderland, Plancetera is the go-to supplier in the city, offering plant display systems and outdoor wooden furniture. Having the canvas for a unique outdoor dining scene, it is just natural for the brand to jump into food enterprising, and establish the coffee shop.

Championing local flavors, the café features single-origin beans from the mountains of Sagada, meaning the beans are not a blend from different sources but come from a specific geographical region.
“In keeping with the healthy vibe of the establishment, the owners decided on the dark roast of the beans,” the coffee shop says. “This is believed to enhance the coffee’s already-rich supply of antioxidants, which are known to help fight free radicals that cause cellular damage. The dark roasting also brings out a rich taste, making each cup an experience to savor while gazing at the cafés gardens.”
There are many ways coffee addicts can have their brewed cup at the shop. They can take it as Pinoy as can be by choosing Kapeng Barako, or more on the stateside as Café Americano. Its cold brews, mocha-flavored, and coffee jelly variants are must-tries as well.

Apart from the special drinks, the café also serves tasty eats to savor while enjoying its green surrounding. Customers must not miss the chance to try items from Café Plantcetera’s Sweet Tooth menu like its Brownie s’mores and Vigan bibingka—great treats to accompany their coffee. On the savory side are Cheesy Quesadillas, Nachos, Four-cheese Sandwich or the Special Ham-and-Cheese Sandwich, a Wrap, and a plateful of Spaghetti Bolognese or Spanish Sardines Aglio olio or Tuna Pesto, perfect for afternoon snacking.
Café Plantcetera is located in #17 Apollo St. Talon II Moonwalk Paranaque Las Piñas.
