Kumori Philippines puts presidential aspirants on cake cups

As the Philippine election season is heating up with campaigns happening all over the nation, some brands are doing their part in informing Filipinos about the power their vote has. Choosing who will be the country’s leaders, especially its commander-in-chief, is not as easy as pie. That’s why, for this cafe and bakeshop, a continuous reminder is a must.

This February, Kumori Philippines is not only spreading the love but also voter awareness with the latest release of its cake cups. What sets it apart is that customers can choose a cup wrapper to go with their dessert. On the wrapper are five of the presidential aspirants that are currently leading 2022 election surveys, namely Vice President Leni Robredo, Manila City Mayor Francisco Domagoso, senators Manny Pacquiao and Panfilo Lacson, and former senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

The cake cups also come in five flavors. Customers can choose from Summer Strawberry and Okinawa Milk Tea variants to Butterscotch Dates, Choco Crumble, and Ube Halaya flavors.

“Since love also comes in the form of choosing what's best for the future of the Philippines, we're spreading love, light, fun, and voter's awareness this elections season,” the band posted.

Priced at P89 each, the cake cups are now available in its stores and online via Grabfood, Foodpanda, and Pickaroo.
