The Manila Bulletin was recognized as the Most Supportive Newspaper by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

DSWD conferred the “Gawad Ulat for Most DSWD-Supportive Newspaper” to the Manila Bulletin during the “2021 Pagkilala sa Natatanging Kontribusyon o PaNataKo sa Bayan Awards” held at the Malasakit Auditorium, Malasakit Building, DSWD-Central Office in Batasan, Quezon City on Monday, Feb. 28.
The “PaNatako sa Bayan Awards” was conducted annually as one of the highlights in celebration of the DSWD Founding Anniversary.
The awards are a yearly endeavor of the DSWD to express gratitude to organizations and individuals for helping the department deliver the needed social welfare and development assistance to the public.
Through this award, DSWD recognizes the “significant contributions” of its partners and stakeholders in the delivery of “Maagap at Mapagkalingang Serbisyo para sa Lahat.”
“On behalf of Manila Bulletin, I would like to thank the DSWD for recognizing MB contribution to Bayan or Panata Ng Bayan,” said Manila Bulletin Editor in Chief Loreto D. Cabanes in a message.
“We appreciate the Award and looking forward to continuing cooperation in the future,” he added.
