Meeting him personally for the first time, actress Heart Evangelista feels amazed with senatorial candidate Jose Manuel 'Chel' Diokno during their recent meeting in Sorsogon.

Evangelista, wife of Sorsogon Gov. Chiz Escudero, posted on Twitter on Sunday, Feb. 13, a photo of her latest encounter with Diokno.

Diokno, a human rights lawyer, visited Sorsogon province during last week’s campaign sortie of the Leni-Kiko slate, which he is part of.

“I’m kilig. fan mode @ChelDiokno good luck po,” Evangelista said in a Twitter post.

In response, the Senate bet said he was the one who had a “fanboy” moment when he met the actress.

“Ako po talaga ‘yung totoong nag fanboy (It was me who was really fanboy) It was so nice meet you, @heart021485!” Diokno tweeted.

The veteran lawyer also took the time to greet Evangelista “advanced happy birthday” ahead of her birthday on Monday, Feb. 14.

This was the second time Diokno got the chance to meet a famous celebrity after the campaign kick-off of their ticket in Naga City, Camarines Sur, bailwick of Robredo.

In Robredo’s hometown, Diokno met various local celebrities, including Nikki Valdez, Cherry Pie Picache, Bituin Escalante, Agot Isidro, The Company and Rivermaya.
