Kontra Daya asks public to be vigilant against various forms of election fraud
Kontra Daya has asked the public to be vigilant against various forms of election fraud now that the campaign period for national candidates and party-list groups already started.

The poll watchdog group said the people should closely monitor any abuse and misuse of government resources, harassment and intimidation, disinformation, disenfranchisement, vote-buying and red-tagging.
"Please take utmost care in taking pictures and video footage of anything out of the ordinary and send them to us," Kontra Daya said in a statement Wednesday, Feb. 9.
"Please include the date, time and place where the picture or video was taken, as well as a short explanation of what happened. We shall compile your information in our ongoing research and bring this to the attention of the authorities," added the group.
"Please coordinate with Kontra Daya through our website (kontradaya.org), Facebook page (kontra.daya), Twitter account (@kontradaya) and email address ([email protected])," said Kontra Daya.
The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Tuesday also encouraged the public to file reports of wrongdoings during the campaign season by sending them via email ([email protected]) as well as use #SumbongKo in posting via Twitter.
