GCash scan-to-pay payments now available on SM Supermalls nationwide

GCash and SM Supermalls nationwide offer GCash scan-to-pay payments

SM Supermalls has partnered with GCash to enable GCash QR payments across all SM malls nationwide, including supermarkets, food and retail merchants as well as services such as cinema and parking, among others.

GCash has been in partnership with SM since 2019. The partnership has given shoppers the option to cash in, cash out, and scan-to-pay transactions for easier, safer and faster shopping experience. Customers can also choose the scan-to-pay options via static QR codes and terminals.

At present, 8 out of 10 stores in SM Supermalls nationwide are already accepting various forms of cashless payments, including QRPh and contactless cards for in-store and webpay for SM Malls Online with merchants such as food, retail and supermarkets now accepting digital payments via GCash. Other mall services including parking, ice skating, cinema ticket booths, and other activities can now be paid cashless via GCash.

GCash users can also use GCredit and GGives, which are both available on the GCash app. GCredit offers a credit line for up to P30,000 with zero annual fees. All you need is 1 valid ID and be at least 21 years old. GGives is an installment payment option for up to 24 months for items priced up to P125,000 with an interest as low as 0%.

The GCash app is available for free on the Google Play Store, App Store, and Huawei AppGallery.
