ECommerce pioneer, Lazada, highlights on pricing, affordability, security, and simplifying app to drive deeper customer connections

ECommerce pioneer Lazada’s 11.11 Lazada Biggest Sale is returning this November 11 to 13, and is set to be a platform for brands and sellers to scale and deepen customer connections as shoppers delight in Lazada’s highly anticipated line up of 11.11 shopping deals and Shoppertainment content.

According to Lazada Chief Executive Officer Carlos Barrera, Lazada is responding to shifts in consumer behavior by removing clutter and improving to be the cleanest and most intuitive app on an ecommerce platform in order to drive deeper customer connections.

In a recent study that followed the shopper’s journey from discovery to delivery, Lazada found that more than half (57%) of Southeast Asian consumers now use eCommerce marketplaces as search engines to find what they want. 

This means that tools offered by digital platforms for brands and businesses are critical in building sustainable models for the ecosystem, and the reason for Lazada to improve solutions to support our sellers and partners.

“As we grow and become a household brand in the Philippines, we are also seeing that people shop on a daily basis. Our objective is to make a deeper  connection and to highlight the things that people wants to buy. Handling account management and fraudulent accounts

There will always be fraudulent accounts and transactions on social media platforms, and Lazada is aware of this because they take account management seriously by proactively cleaning up and deactivating content infringement, intellectual property issues, and constantly screening accounts. With the support of Alibaba, Lazada has the technology and assets to monitor and prevent bogus sellers and they are working closely with their legitimate sellers and brands to identify information related to security and data compliance.

“We want to build trust and emotional connection where people feel safe while shopping in Lazada,” Barrera added.

Turning passions into actions with LazLive+ Festival

Along with the many deals come special Shoppertainment programs. The three-day celebration includes exciting livestream shows where you can SHOP, WATCH your favorite artists perform, and WIN prizes.
