DepED lauded for 'excellent' handling of public complaints
The Department of Education (DepED) was named as one of the top-performing government agencies with the highest public complaints resolution in the last ten years.

“In celebration of the 122nd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) issued a certificate of recognition to DepED for achieving one of the highest complaints resolution rates for the past decade as a CSC’s Contact Center ng Bayan (CCB) partner,” said DepED in a press statement on Tuesday, Nov. 29.
CCB serves as the government's “main helpdesk” where the public can request for information and assistance on certain government-related services. They may likewise report commendations, appreciation, complaints, and feedback through this mechanism.
“As one of CCB’s key partners, DepED posted a high resolution rate for CCB-related concerns in the last 10 years,” DepED said, adding that in 2022 alone, the department’s Public Affairs Service-Public Assistance and Action Center (PAS-PAAC) received a resolution rate of 87.83 percent.
