Real talk from Migs Nograles: 'Mahirap po mag-diet'

Pwersa ng Bayaning Atleta (PBA) Party-list Rep. Migs Nograles dropped a bunch of truth bombs on her Facebook followers Thursday night, Oct. 27 after embarking on a pre-Christmas weight loss program.

Nograles appeared to be facing a tough challenge and thus took to her social media to vent some steam.

"Mahirap po mag diet dahil ang sarap sarap kumain ng pagkain (It's hard to diet because I enjoy eating so much)," the neophyte lawmaker in the 19th Congress said matter-of-factly.

Her post came with two post-workout photos showing beads of sweat streaming down her face.

She didn't reveal what type of exercises she did but she assured netizens that they weren't easy to do.

"Mahirap mag workout/exercise araw araw lalo na kapag nakakatamad gumalaw at mahirap bumangon (It's difficult to exercise daily especially if you're lazy and don't feel like getting up early in the morning)," said the 32-year-old.

Nograles further claimed that people who upload post-workout photos of themselves still looking fine and fresh are simply not being truthful.

"Ang sarap po talaga kumain pero ayaw mo naman din tumaba kaya dapat hindi masyadong mukbang araw araw (It's so good to eat but I don't want to get fat; that's why you shouldn't do mukbangs every day)," she said.

"Ulitin ko lang: ANG HIRAP PO MAG DIET (I'll just repeat: IT'S SO HARD TO DIET)," stressed the daughter of the late former House Speaker Prospero Nograles.

The lawyer-solon ended her post by asking her followers for tips on how to stay motivated and inspired in her weight loss journey.
