Super American Circus finally visits PH

Witness thrilling acts like motorcycle stunts, aerial ballerinas, and amazing jugglers

We all grew up watching American circus on TV. You know—roaring motorcycles riding on a circular cage, death defying aerial acrobatics, jugglers, clowns, and even more motorcycles. This is not your high art “Cirque du Soleil” type show, this is your fun, gasp-inducing, exhilarating circus-perfect for the family. And it’s arriving on our shores this holiday season.

From Dec. 21, 2022 until Jan. 8, 2023, the Super American Circus will finally have a show in the Philippines. The show will be held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City.

During a media press conference, Global Entertainment Productions gave guests a preview of what to expect at the Super American Circus. "Families will be in for a marvelous two-hour treat with what is dubbed as the biggest ensemble of live one-ring circus today. Some of them were winners of the prestigious world-class talent search America’s Got Talent," according to them.

The famed Cornell "Tuffy" Nicholas himself will be the ringmaster at the Super American Circus show here in Manila. Tuffy welcomed guests at the media press conference via Zoom, and bellowed the traditional circus greeting of "Ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages…" He then told guests how excited he was to visit the Philippines and to show us their special brand of circus acts.

"Witness thrilling acts like the motorcycle team in the Globe of Danger, the amazing Sky Wheel, the High Flying Motorcycle, life challenging aerialists, beautiful aerial ballerinas, and amazing jugglers that will happily keep you hanging on the edge of your seats," they told us at the press conference.

An incredible show like Super American Circus deserves an equally incredible venue. The Newport Performing Arts Theater is located at the center of Newport World Resorts, Newport Boulevard, Newport City, Pasay (across NAIA Terminal 3). The Super American Circus will have performances at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. beginning Dec. 21, 2022. Tickets are available at SM Tickets in these prices: P5,000, P4,000, P2,000 and P1,000.
