Two more fatalities were added to the death toll of super typhoon Karding, even as help continued to pour in from different government agencies for the victims of the strongest tropical cyclone to hit the Philippines this year.
President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. joined other top government officials in mourning the death of the five rescuers who perished at the height of “Karding” in San Miguel, Bulacan.
Meanwhile, San Miguel town and six other municipalities in Quezon province have been placed under a state of calamity that would allow them to recover faster from the effects of “Karding”.
Unfortunately, another weather disturbance is coming after a low-pressure area (LPA) inside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) intensified into tropical depression (Luis).
