Since live events are slowly coming back even if the pandemic is not yet over, (push na raw mg ate!) Robinson's malls are now active in putting up activities that involve audiences and attendees. Just like in Robinson's Galleria, where its weekends are dedicated to a series of events. (ayaw paawat mga ning!) Last Saturday, I witnessed back-to-back events. (ako nga back-laan lang ang alam!)
The mall’s ARTablado venue opened the art exhibit ”Perpetual Flux” featuring the artworks from the Artfinity art group composed of Valerie Teng, Jayvee Del Rosario, Scifi Wasabi, Gabo Valenzuela, Andrei Solmirano, Kwin Chi, Mark Anthony Janoya, Marie Ann Paredes, Astrid Anabo, Phil Victor Salazar, Aina Marcaida, Zarah Eugenie Cabangon and yours truly! (oo member na rin ako ng grupo! Bilang feeling artist ako!) 65 art pieces that depict movement of energy and flow of ideas are now on display until Sept. 30. (so ano kaya ang ambag ng The art of FU dyan?! Go na kayo!)

It was a simple but fun opening ceremony, highlighted with a performance from the independent music group: “Japo vs. The French Girl.” (may pa mini concert pa ha!) It was also nice meeting people who are certified art lovers. (di ko lang sure if meron sa kanila ang my husband’s lover!) It is one of Artfinity’s objectives to promote art appreciation. (para naman di lang tayo landian nang landian!) We believe that a person doesn’t need to be an art collector to love art. Having a connection with the essence of the artworks is a good start. (tapos next time, dapat buy na sya! Hahaha!)
I admire Robinson's Land for initiating ARTablado because having an additional venue like this for artists is one of the things that we need to help the Filipino Art Scene. This particular spot also adds a premium to the establishment that is known for its entertainment and leisure. (kaya mag-arte arte na tayo!)

Meanwhile, the other event that day, was from Robinson's Movie World Galleria. It opened its doors for the red carpet premiere of GMA-7’s newest series: “Start-up Ph” and welcomed lead stars Alden Richards, Bea Alonzo, Yasmin Kurdi, Jeric Gonzales, Gina Alajar, Jackie Lou Blanco, Gabby Eigenmann, Ayen Munji, Boy 2 Quizon, Royce Cabrera and directors Dominic Zapanta at Jerry Sineneng. It was also a meet-and-greet activity for fans who were given the opportunity to exclusively watch the first two episodes of the series. (dapat umakyat pala ako, para nahug ko si Alden! At nakiss si Jeric!)

Aside from bringing back the movies in theaters, Movieworld Management has also included Red Carpet Ceremonies, Premieres, and Live Entertainment in their line-up of events to make the industry alive again. (ay pwede akong red carpet host ha!)
