WTFu by MR. FU: Ready for the FUk

I am celebrating my 4th year in producing my abstract paintings which I call “The Art of FU" (well pag trip ko lang naman magpaka-artsy artsy!) I remember the very first person who bought my work. Her name is Joelyn Labrador, a Filipina resident of Japan. She just saw my post on Instagram and immediately bought one. She now holds the record of having the most number of The Art of FU masterpieces in her house. (kaya feeling close talaga ako sa kanya nung magkita kami sa Tokyo ha! Nilibre pa kami ng kasama ko sa sowsyal na resto!)

Celebrity lawyer Atty Ferdie Topacio is also a certified The Art of FU collector. He also holds a record for getting dozens of my artworks. If Joelyn displays them in her house, Atty Ferdie, gave them a way to his friends (mga alta friends ha!) as Christmas gifts. (dinaig ang paandar ni Jose Mari Chan!)

PTV news anchor and Newport World Resorts PR Director Joee Guilas has also my works in his home and office. (wala syang magawa kasi friend ko sya, kaya need nya mamakyaw!)

Some businessmen, corporate world bosses, medical practitioners, interior designers, and other professionals have shown support for the Art of FU, and it feels good that these people appreciate my artworks. (e-effort-an ko pa, basta may customer!)

The power of miracles by MR. FU

Their unwavering support is one of the reasons that inspired me to launch “FUk.gallery.art.soul.”  It is a gallery featuring my own works and other masterpieces from selected talented artists. I hope to make this a venue for art appreciation. (pero sana bumili rin ha!) It also aims to support up-and-coming artists. (kaya suportahan nyo ko!)

I’ve been wanting to have this gallery. I am always ecstatic every time I visit an art gallery. (tumatambay pa ako ha! hoping bigyan ako free paining!) I just have this connection with artworks. (it’s my soul!  Soul daw o!)

The FUk team is currently ironing out plans for the gallery (kahit di naman ako marunong mamalantsa!) which is now situated at the studio of our digital show, WTFu. Those who are interested to visit need to get an appointment. (bawal bisita kapag may taping kami with the boys e!) For art updates, just follow @fukgalleryartsoul on Instagram and Facebook.
