
Almost 95 percent of 48,991 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) in the prison facilities of the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) have been vaccinated against Covid-19.
BuCor’s public information office head, Corrections Chief Supt. Julie May C. Taguiam, said during the “Laging Handa” public briefing on Thursday, Sept. 8, that 35,700 PDLs have received their booster shots
Taguiam assured that the bureau will continue its vaccination program for PDLs and personnel.
“Sa ating (in our) personnel, 94.9 percent of the total of 4,836 have been vaccinated as of July 30),” she said.
