Eya Laure hints at UST return for one last roar in Season 85

University of Santo Tomas star Eya Laure hinted at coming back for one last roar with the Golden Tigresses.

On her social media channels, the 23-year-old Laure showed a glimpse of her decision to stay with UST.

The tweet most likely ended months of speculations by fans and supporters alike regarding her future in the volleyball scene.

"See you next season UST Community," wrote Laure, along with yellow heart and tiger emojis, as she flexed her car in front of the university's Main Building and the new UST letters and Tiger standees.

After entering the Final Four last UAAP Season 84, the former UAAP Rookie of the Year remained undecided whether she will stay with the Tigresses or turn professional.

Laure led UST to a 9-5 record in the eliminations and emerged as the league's top scorer but eventually yielded to Ateneo during the stepladder semifinals.

That said, Laure is set to spearhead the team anew alongside the likes of Imee Hernandez, Ysa Jimenez, Camille Victoria, and Ypril Tapia, among others.

The Manila Bulletin tried to contact Laure regarding the matter but has yet to respond as of press time.
