Vicor Music jumpstarts series of shows showcasing new talents, vinyl collection

Vicor Music is parading new acts today, Aug. 20, via a show in Lucky Chinatown.

Happening at 7pm, it is part of the label's "Get To Know Tour."

It is the first of a series of shows that Vicor is mounting in the coming weeks and months as part of its resurgence as a major pop-music-idol-making record label.

Also known as the "GTK Tour," its aim is for Pinoy pop music listeners to meet Vicor’s “freshest sound and hit makers.”

It will feature the storied label’s current roster of young music artists including “Ulap” singer Rob Deniel, former Pop Girl, actress and “Magnet” singer Aubrey Caraan, and 17-year old singer-pianist-guitarist (and also volleyball player) Marielle Belleza.

Also on the bill is Silas, who recently made his Vicor label debut with the 80’s pop-rock inspired track “Hauntingly.”

Making her debut performance for the label at the event is new female solo pop act Ciara.

Today’s show will also see an “All Classic Vinyl Reissue Sale” that will see Vicor’s vaunted vinyl collection—albums by Ric Segreto, Martin Nievera, VST & Company, Rey Valera, Juan Dela Cruz, Asin, Cinderella, Bong Penera, Basil Valdez and more—at discounted prices.

“GTK Tour” is supported by Megaworld Lifestyle malls and Lucky Chinatown.
