Samsung drops new musical theme 'Over the Horizon 2022 Produced by SUGA of BTS'

Samsung has released a new interpretation of its signature musical theme “Over the Horizon” by Grammy-nominated K-pop group BTS’ Suga.

“Over the Horizon 2022 Produced by SUGA of BTS” is available to listen on Samsung Electronics’ social media channels.

A video of the new musical theme was unveiled during the Samsung Unpacked event at Times Square in New York City on Aug. 10. In addition, fans were able to get BTS posters.

The 2022 Samsung Unpacked revealed two new foldable phones: the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4.

Suga created his first remix of “Over the Horizon” at the Galaxy Unpacked in 2021. This time, he created an upbeat and positive vibe for the Samsung musical theme.

“Over the Horizon” debuted in 2011 when the Samsung Galaxy S2 was launched.

According to Samsung, Suga is the first artist to remix the song twice in addition to producing a tune for the new edition of Galaxy foldables.

It said Suga’s goal while working on “Over the Horizon 2022 Produced by SUGA of BTS” was to encourage people to expect a bright future and think about what excitement is waiting “over the horizon.”

”Over the Horizon 2022 Produced by SUGA of BTS” will be available as a ringtone through an upcoming software update on Galaxy devices, Samsung said.
