
The governments of the Philippines and the United States have started talks to further enhance cooperation in combatting cybercrimes.
In a statement, the Philippines’ Department of Justice (DOJ) said the meeting was held between Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin C. Remulla and US Ambassador MaryKay L. Carlson.
The statement also stated that the “US Ambassador brought up other points of interest where they could collaborate, including the protection of human rights and training of police and prosecutors.”
