Globe Business reaffirms its support for the digital adoption

At this year’s Inclusive Innovation Conference of the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) Competitiveness and Innovation Group held at Batangas State University, Globe Business reaffirmed its support for the digital adoption of higher educational institutions and MSMEs.

“Globe Business has always been at the forefront of promoting 21st century learning, believing it is the best source of hope for our country’s future. As part of our mission to uplift Filipinos’ lives, we are using digital technology to make education readily available to more people and also make the pursuit of learning a resilient one, so that Filipinos can continue to learn and progress even in challenging circumstances,” said Marinella Suyat, Partnerships Manager for Globe Business MSME Group.

In the event, Globe Business puts the spotlight on the critical need to reimagine technology’s critical work in Philippine education and make learning more accessible to all Filipinos. In support of the education sector's journey towards digitalization, Globe continues to provide a wide array of innovative learning tools and digital solutions especially for this coming school year. Its advocacy campaign, “Tuloy ang Edukasyon, Tuloy ang Pag-asa,” was introduced to the higher education leaders who joined the event. The campaign centers on the idea that education is the key to a better future.

Globe Business also showcased its wide range of business and connectivity solutions for MSMEs. This included the ChatGenie app that helps businesses reach customers swiftly and effectively on Facebook, Instagram, Viber, GCash, and other social media apps. The app is also part of DTI’s Global Acceleration Program, which is the first government program designed to help Philippine startups expand to international markets. Globe Business ICT Portfolio Marketing Director Anne Leonardo noted that Globe Business recognizes the importance of making reliable technology attainable even to the smallest of players to help bridge market gaps and make their products easily accessible to customers.
