In addition, YG Entertainment said BLACKPINK will embark on the largest world tour for a K-pop girl group.

“A lot of music in BLACKPINK’s style has been prepared with much effort for a long time. BLACKPINK will also embark on the largest-ever world tour for a K-pop girl group by the end of this year alongside the comeback, in order to expand their communication and interaction with fans all around the world,” it said, according to SBS News.

The last time BLACKPINK released an album was in October 2020 through “The Album,” which sold over 1.4 million copies.

Last year, Rosé and Lisa released their solo albums, which hit major global music charts.

Recently, BLACKPINK’s subscribers on their YouTube channel reached 75 million.
