BLACKPINK becomes first artist to reach 75 million subscribers on YouTube


K-pop girl group BLACKPINK achieved another milestone when their subscribers on their official YouTube channel reached 75 million.

YouTube Music announced on June 29 BLACKPINK’s record of becoming the first artist to have 75 million subscribers.

“Congrats to @BLACKPINK for becoming the first musical act to reach **75 million** subs on @YouTube. How you like that?!?!” it posted on Twitter.

Last September, BLACKPINK overtook Justin Bieber as the most subscribed artist on YouTube with 65.5 million subscribers.

BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That’ music video reached 1.1 billion views on YouTube last month.

In the all-time most subscribed official artist channels on YouTube as of June 29, BLACKPINK are in first place with 75 million followed by Bieber with 69.3 million, BTS’ BangtanTV with 68.7 million, Marshmello with 55.4 million and Eminem with 52.4 million.
