The Technological Institute of the Philippines (T.I.P.) T.I.P. stands tall and proud with 60 years of experience in providing quality education for all, bearing the colors white, yellow, black, and grey, T.I.P. is in the heart of two of the busiest central business districts in the metro (Quiapo, Manila and Cubao, Quezon City).

Founded in 1962 by Engr. Demetrio A. Quirino and Dr. Teresita U. Quirino, the institution has, time and again, proven to be a viable player in the field.

Here are the reasons why:

1. T.I.P.'s programs are ABET-accredited.

Not once, but twice.

T.I.P. got the first ABET accreditation of 20 of its programs in 2013 – 14 from the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) and 6 from the Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC).

In 2018, T.I.P. vied for the second cycle of ABET international accreditation and received, a year later, reaccreditation of all 20 of its engineering and computing programs.

2. T.I.P. has recognitions from CHED.

Both T.I.P. campuses were granted Autonomous Status, the highest honor that the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) can bestow, in 2016 and again in 2019.

T.I.P. also has 16 CHED Centers of Excellence (COE) and Centers of Development (COD) in engineering and information technology.

3. T.I.P.'s research infrastructure remains robust.

In 2021, the Institutes for Research, Innovation, and Scholarship (IRIS) named T.I.P. as the fifth top school for engineering research in the country.

Students, faculty members, and industry partners constantly engage in innovative endeavors that allow them to hone innate technopreneurship skills.

4. T.I.P. offers scholarship grants.

On top of relatively low school fees, T.I.P. also offers scholarships and financial assistance to deserving students in line with its founders' vision of "bringing the blessings of higher education to the masses."

5. T.I.P.'s graduates are sought after by employers.

T.I.P.ians have an average employment rate of 92.5%. Jobstreet's 2018 Employer Survey also ranks T.I.P. as the seventh most preferred school by employers when it comes to hiring fresh graduates and the second most preferred school by companies in the engineering industry.

The institution's Career Center is likewise recognized by USAID-STRIDE as a Model Career Center.
