After A-Listers Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes (and soon, Bea Alonzo) as endorsers, well known beauty brand Beautederm is casting a top Korean star as its next model.

Beautederm president and CEO Rhea Anicoche-Tan mentioned during a recent conversation that such a move is part of her expansion plans this year.

She’s still canvassing around which actor shall fit the bill---beautifully.

There’s no stopping Beautederm,  a consistent Superbrand awardee, from going up, up in the world, literally.

“We have so much more to offer in terms of star quality, products-wise, in the coming months,” she says.

Over the past two days recently, during an outing in Angeles City, we witnessed how company president

Ms. Rei has been working hard to erect the BD Corporate Office, a 7-storey building on a 1,000 sqm prime property along the main highway in Angeles City.

Ms. Rei says that when completed, it will be the biggest beauty hub in the country. Even bigger than anything of its kind in Metro Manila.

The building shall house all other businesses operated by Ms. Rei, including Beautederm’s companion beauty clinic and A-List Avenue, an online store selling exclusive signature items from bags to clothes and other fashion items.

Think Hermes, Louis Vitton, Balmain lang naman.

Ms. Rei toured us around her private enclave, where Salve Asis, editor of Pilipino Star Ngayon, couldn’t contain her excitement upon coming face to face with rows upon rows of pricey bags neatly packed in orange boxes.

Some bags, according to Ms. Rei, sell at 5 million pesos only. Salve was thrilled even more that she filled the entire room with her shrieks and thrills, like a 12-year old girl from Sta. Elena, Camarines Norte, on her first Ferris wheel ride.

Ms. Rei is also opening a coffee shop, to be called Beaute Beanery, within the building.

“Since I am a coffee lover, I might as well launch my own coffee line,” she told us as we were sipping the magical brew—a slimming coffee--- in one of the many homes she owns in an exclusive Angeles City village.

She calls this one American-style home, the AK. It is actually a guest house, where she books artists from Manila, like Christopher de Leon, who hold their photo shoots in town for any of Beautederm’s various product lines.

There are over 100 products in the catalog, ranging from soap, facial wash to bleaching lotion to home scent (Reverie).

BD Corporate Office will have 20 suites, each one designed like a condo unit.

She hopes to inaugurate the hotel- looking corporate office in May. Beautederm, started in 2009, has over 100 stores nationwide and is considered an industry leader in beauty and home products.
