MB Daily News Update: Heat index hits 51 degrees centigrade


Russian troops have started to close in on Ukraine capital Kyiv and other key cities as the number of people killed in the conflict has breached 1,500. And as the steady stream of refugees came from Ukraine, they were welcomes with open arms by other eastern European countries, which were ready to offer them employment.

Meanwhile, it was the hottest so far in the country this year after the heat index rose to 51 degrees centigrade in Dagupan City on Saturday, March 12.
