Here’s where you can roller disco like you’re in the ‘70s

Let’s get groovin’

Over the past years, there has been a resurgence of the ‘70s aesthetic. From food like the shag cake and the fashions we’ve seen on the international runways to the movies shown on the big screen, we are all taken back to that time when Studio 54 is the it-place and “make love, not war” is the main statement. This time, you and your friends can make your ‘70s fantasy a reality with this roller disco spot in Metro Manila.

Last November, Fisher Mall in Malabon City launched its newest offering—an indoor roller disco. Complete with roller skates in a myriad of pastels and a mirror disco ball, this spot is definitely becoming the grooviest place in town.

Among those who have been rolling there is artist Camilla of Skating Fairy Rolls. In her post, she said people can enjoy the roller disco for an unlimited time for ₱300, while ₱350 for anyone renting roller skates and safety gear.

“Wood floors are best for skate dances, and beginners as it doesn’t feel that bad when you fall, it doesn’t really hurt that much on wood compared to falling on concrete hard floor,” she posted.

According to the mall’s recent post, reservations are not required to experience the roller disco. Fisher Roller Discot located at the 5th level is operates from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and it is open to all fully vaccinated individuals.
