The global popularity of Netflix’s new Korean zombie series “All of Us Are Dead” brought fame to its stars on social media.
““All of Us Are Dead” was released on Netflix on Jan. 28 and since then, its stars raked in millions of followers on Instagram.
The series is about students who are trapped in their high school when zombies invade. They need to fight off the zombies to survive.
It stars Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Lomon (aka Park Solomon), Cho Yi-hyun, Yoo In-soo, Lim Jae-hyeok, Son Sang-Yeon and Lee Yoo-mi of the hit Netflix series “Squid Game.”
It debuted at No. 1 on Netflix's weekly chart, beating the first-week record of "Squid Game," and reaching in the top 10 in 91 countries.

Among the cast, Lomon, 22, who plays the role of Lee Su-Hyeok, gained the most number of followers since “All of Us Are Dead” was released.
On Jan. 27, his Instagram followers totaled 250,858 including 2,791 new followers, according to social media analytics website Social Blade.
When the series was released the following day, Lomon added 59,105 followers to bring his total followers to 309,963.
The following day, Lomon garnered 229,872 new followers to bring his total to 539,835. His followers jumped to 900,953 (with 361,118 new followers) on Jan. 30 and he reached one million followers on Jan. 31.
By Jan. 31, his Instagram followers totaled 1,311,234 including 410,281 new followers. It reached 1,823,016 on Feb. 1 and 2,279,494 on Feb. 2.
As of writing on Feb. 4, his total Instagram followers are now 2,662,644, or gaining 2,411,786 new followers since Jan. 27.

Actress Park Ji-hu, 18, also saw her Instagram followers dramatically increase after “All of Us Are Dead” was released on Netflix.
On Jan. 27, her Instagram followers totaled 33,332. When the zombie series was released, her followers increased to 50,724 on Jan. 28; 141,157 on Jan. 29; 363,685 on Jan. 30; 650,094 on Jan. 31 and 99,248 on Feb. 1, according to Social Blade.
She reached one million followers on Feb. 2 with a total of 1,334,484, which further rose to 1,625,359 on Feb. 3. As of writing, her Instagram followers totaled 1,659,743. Since Jan. 27, Park Ji-hu added 1,626,411 followers.

Actor Yoon Chan-young, 20, who plays the role of Lee Cheong-san in “All of Us Are Dead,” also gained more than two million followers on Instagram.
From 79,752 followers on Jan. 27, it grew to 103,735 on Jan. 28 when the series was released. His followers jumped to 238,784 on Jan. 29; 501,324 on Jan. 30; 846,031 on Jan. 31; 1,418,789 on Feb. 1; 1,829,292 on Feb. 2; and 2,150,218 on Feb. 3, according to Social Blade.
As of writing, he has 2,180,060 Instagram followers, an increase of 2,100,308 followers since Jan. 27.

Cho Yi-hyun, 22, who plays class president Choi Nam-ra in “All of Us Are Dead,” now has more than two million followers on Instagram, thanks to the series.
As of writing, Cho Yihyun has 2,375,827 Instagram followers. On Jan. 27, she had 268,478 followers and the total increased to 289,241 on Jan. 28; 405,579 on Jan. 29; 671,616 on Jan. 30; 1,042,730 on Jan. 31; 1,491,908 on Feb. 1; 1,936,881 on Feb. 2; and 2,296,891 on Feb. 3.
Her Instagram followers have increased by 2,107,349 since Jan. 27.

Yoo In-soo, 23, who plays the role of school bully Yoon Gwi-nam, also increased his Instagram followers by 1,540 percent.
As of Feb. 3, he had 708,846 followers, a steep increase from 43,223 followers on Jan. 27, or a jump of 665,623. As of writing, he has 719,194 followers.

Actress Lee Yoo-mi, 27, plays the role of the evil student Lee Na-yeon who is the most hated character in “All of Us Are Dead.”
“All of Us Are Dead” is Lee Yoo-mi’s second hit since starring in “Squid Game” last September. Back then, her Instagram followers already reached millions.
As of Jan. 27, her Instagram followers totaled 6,653,100, a decrease of 10,108 followers from Jan. 26. When the zombie series was released, her number of followers started to increase again.
She had 6,645,998 followers on Jan. 28; 6,649,703 on Jan. 29; 6,683,141 on Jan. 30; 6,737;861 on Jan. 31; 6,834,236 on Feb. 1; 6,961,283 on Feb. 2; and 7,067,601 on Feb. 3.
From Jan. 28 to Feb. 3, her Instagram followers increased by 421,603. As of writing, she has 7,132,107 Instagram followers.

Son Sang-yeon, 19, plays the role of Jang Woo-jin, the brother of archery player Jang Ha-ri in “All of Us Are Dead.”
He enlisted in the military last November so he cannot actively promote “All of Us Are Dead.” He will be discharged in May 2023. He is known for starring in the SBS drama “Racket Boys” last year for which he won best new actor at the 2021 SBS Drama Awards last December.
His Instagram followers also increased from 169,059 on Jan. 27 to 602,110 on Feb. 3, or a jump by 433,051.
