Inoue after Casimero's remark: Please organize a match

Boxing in the ring is the only way for Japanese "Monster" Naoya Inoue to settle his ongoing dispute with Filipino champion John Riel Casimero.

The two bantamweight stars have been going back and forth on social media, which is a rare occasion for the silent Japanese boxing star.

Inoue recently responded to Casimero's remarks after the Filipino beat Guillermo Rigondeaux over the weekend to retain his WBO title.

Casimero added fuel to the fire by taking it to Twitter, even tagging Top Rank chief Bob Arum and saying: Lolo @BobArum, your apo (grandson) wants to suicide. Would let him to do it and eat shit?

The tweet was accompanied with three smiling faces filled with hearts and followed up by a meme depicting the hunt of Casimero for the bantamweight champions, namely Rigondeaux, Inoue, and WBC titlist Nonito Donaire.

Obviously, it did not sit well with Inoue, the reigning WBC and IBF champion signed under Top Rank.

"Why should I be a good girl? Is everyone's image of Naoya Inoue a saint prince? Why do I have to keep silent because I was so enthusiastic that I was provoked radically and was pointed out in the live broadcast? There are people who say various things, but this is an individual remark with Casimero. Just buy the quarrel that was sold. Please organize a match," wrote Inoue through a rough Google translate.

"Once the match with Casimero is decided, I would like to beat it under the rule of boxing. Therefore, we firmly ask for weight management "doping" management so that the match will be established. I hope this year," added the undefeated Japanese, who owns 21-0 record on top of 18 knockouts.

It would be recalled that Rigondeax and Inoue have backed up Donaire's campaign against anti-doping, an issue that caused the cancellation of the Donaire-Casimero bout.

In the process, Rigondeaux was put back in the saddle only to be defeated by Casimero in his second title defense.

Just like his fellow champions, Casimero, who improved to a 31-4 record with 21 KOs, is on the hunt for all the major bantamweight titles.

ICYMI: No disrespect meant to Donaire, says Casimero representative

Aside from the Inoue-Casimero bout, Donaire earlier expressed desire for a rematch against the Japanese "Monster" since suffering defeat in November 2019.
