Fil-Am rapper Saweetie stars in McDonald's latest celebrity collaboration meal

After its successful work with Korean boy band superstar BTS, McDonald's is serving a new celebrity meal collaboration with hip hop artist Saweetie.

The half-Filipino rapper and the global fast food brand has been hinting about the upcoming meal set through a series of posts on social media. On July 29, 2021, McDonald's finally unveiled the dishes in the Saweetie Meal, a Big Mac, four-piece chicken nuggets, fries, Sprite, and, a staple in its celebrity meal set, a special BBQ sauce dubbed Saweetie-N-Sour.

“McDonald’s and I run deep–from growing up back in Hayward, California, all through my college days–so I had to bring my icy gang in on my all-time favorites. Depending on the mood I’m in, there are so many ways to enjoy my order,” the "ICY GRL" tells about her the fast food chain to Hypebae.

The "Saweetie Meal" will be available in the US on Aug. 9, 2021.
